Synopsis for Heller's Punishment:
Book 4 of the Heller series. In this adventure, rookie security officer Tilly Chalmers has three new assignments to cope with - chaperoning a devious
addict to a rehabilitation clinic; live-in security for an isolated
religious cult; and protecting a national TV host in a damaging court case. On
top of all of this, she must also somehow manage her growing feelings
for her boss Heller, and decide on what to do about her love-rat ex-boyfriend’s demands to rekindle their relationship.

DeleteCan't wait for Heller's Punishment to become an e-book. Really enjoyed the other Heller books. I hope Tilly and Heller do become more romantically involved. Don't all bad boys like Heller need a good woman like Tilly to turn them around.

ReplyDeleteI found the first book by accident on my nook. I thought it would be an okay book to read. Boy was I wrong! I couldn't put it down! I read all three books in the series in just 3 days. I can't wait for the next one! JD Nixon...you now have a captive new reader who loves your books!!!

DeleteWhat can i say.......I love,love the heller series!! I found them when i was looking for something to read on my new nook.All i can say is WOW! I have fallen in love with Heller and Tilly,just wished they would hurry and admit that they love each other.Can't wait til that happens and see whatkind of fireworks go off!

Oh Paula, you're making me blush! And thank you for giving my books a try. There will be some fireworks between them in H4, believe me! Some good and some bad. But they are moving closer with every book. Heller needs a lot of taming, though I'm sure he'll be worth it :-)

DeleteAll I can say is WOW and ditto all of the above! I raced through the Heller books to date in record time and can't wait for Heller's Punishment. Likewise for the Little Town series. As a new nook owner, I've come to discover that 4 and 5 ratings are generally only valid if supported by 50+ reviews. (a lot of poor authors spend an inordinate amount of time on self-reviews). I'm sure others have noted this as well, so I will definitely be adding a review because your strong, sassy heroines and mysterious, bad "arse" yet vunerable heroes are too good to miss! Can't believe some publishing house hasn't snatched you up!

DeleteI recently have read all the Heller books and I'm looking forward to book five. Being in the security industry I can say Tilly would be a handful.
DeleteThe only comment I have is the time off Heller allowed Tilly to take off and since she is a trouble magnet I would insist that she take more self defense classes and hand to hand combat.
Hey there! I guess the security industry should breathe a sigh of relief that Tilly is only a fictional character :-) And I agree, she probably needs more training, though I don't want her too professional . . .

ReplyDeleteI really wish I could tell you. Heller's Punishment was sent to Apple on 21 March and they don't seem to be in any hurry to release it on iBooks. I have no control over that unfortunately - it's all up to Apple. As soon as I see that it's there, I'll update my blog.

DeleteI have to say I have become terribly addicted to the Heller books and it is killing me that they have not released Heller's punishment to Barnes and Noble yet. Thank you for your great addicting reads. The only downfall is my fear of getting a bigger behind from sitting too long as I can seem to pull myself away.
