Short synopsis for Heller's Girlfriend

Progress on Heller's Girlfriend is good - hope to publish at Smashwords next week. Here is the short synopsis for it:

Tilly Chalmers’ life is complicated. Her boyfriend’s demanding more attention while her boss Heller is a distracting temptation. Can she manage both of them as well as her new assignments: chaperoning a woman in an ugly divorce case; security at a swingers’ party; and looking after an A-list movie star? And how well can she pretend she doesn’t care now that Heller’s found himself a girlfriend?

  1. I am so excited for this book. I almost check for it every day. I just discovered your books in December and I LOVE them. Keep up that amazing work! I'm trying to spread the word for you. (unfortunately my husband and friends aren't "readers.") when it comes out will it automatically go to iBooks?

  2. Hi Caitlin. Thanks for your lovely comments! When I publish at Smashwords the book is immediately available there, but then it needs to be accepted into their Premium Catalogue. Once it's accepted, it's distributed to retailers like iBooks, Barnes & Noble & Sony. It can sometimes take a couple of weeks for a book to be accepted (although Smashwords are trying to cut that timeframe down) & then can take longer for a retailer to upload it, although Apple are probably the fastest of all to put up new books. Hope that helps!
Tilly goes through a lot in Heller's Girlfriend (not that she hasn't gone through a lot in the other books too, lol!) and a couple of new continuing characters are introduced. I hope you enjoy it when it comes out.

    1. Hi there! That's so flattering of you - some days I can barely inspire myself to get out of bed! Good luck with your writing. Make sure you check out Joe Konrath's blog, A Newbie's Guide to Publishing, if you haven't already. He's been writing for years and is very blunt but also very generous with advice about e-pubbing. 7. Hello JD,

    I can't wait!!!!!!
I tell my husband everyday I am trading him in for a book. (Heller being the primary in the book!). I log on every other day in hopes to buy the book. You really made a fan of me. Still wishing you a ton of success, and by me you have it...with such great books. (Cold in the Poconos) Sincerely, Annie
